Joint-support supplements vary enormously in how much they actually tell you about what's in the capsule. Here's what to look for.
Some labels list each ingredient with its own milligram amount. Others group several ingredients into a single "proprietary blend," disclosing only the combined total — which makes it impossible to know how much of any one ingredient you're actually getting.
Turmeric and curcumin research is highly dose-dependent. A label that discloses "75mg of a 4:1 extract" tells you something concrete you can compare against research. A vague "turmeric complex" with no number tells you almost nothing.
Before buying any joint supplement, check whether the label gives you individual doses or hides them behind a blend. It's one of the fastest ways to judge how transparent a company is being.
